Such errors create an obstruction in your printing. You start wondering how to clear the error. Let us share some tips that might be of help to you.

Method 1:

You should turn on your printer, open the cover of the cartridge and remove it. Then, you should place the cartridge back in the carriage and close the cover. After this, you should turn off the printer for a minute or so. Now, you should turn on your HP printer and take a test page. Chances are that your problem would be solved. However, if it doesn’t, look at the second method.

Method 2:

You should turn on your printer, open the cover of the cartridge and remove it. Now, using a clean, dry cloth, you should softly wipe the cartridge. Please remember to use a lint-free cloth for this. Start wiping from the top to the bottom and do this for each of the contacts. Again, place the HP ink cartridge back and turn off the printer. After a few minutes, turn it on and try taking a test page. Hopefully your problem should be solved. If not, try the next option.

Method 3:

You should turn on your printer, open the cover of the cartridge and remove both the black and color cartridge. After this, you should close the cover. Next, you should remove the power cord from the outlet. You should also detach the cables running to the computer or router and wait for some time. Now, you should plug in the power cord and also plug in the cables. It is time now for you to open the cover and put back both black and color ink cartridges. You should turn on the printer and take a print to check if the problem has been resolved. If this is also not fruitful, then you have one last alternative to check.

Method 4:

You should turn on your printer and remove the power cord from its back. Now, you should wait for a minute and plug the power cord back. You should press and hold the ‘Power’ button so that the printer comes to working mode. There are chances that this would resolve the problem. If this doesn’t, then you would need HP Printer support.
